Британский криптопроцессинг BCB Group привлек $60 млн

Базирующийся в Лондоне криптопроцессинг BCB Group привлек $60 млн в ходе раунда финансирования Серии A, который возглавила Foundation Capital.

В числе участников: BACKED VC, PayU, Digital Currency Group, Nexo, Wintermute, Menai Financial Group, Circle, Tokentus Investment, Cowa, Profluent Ventures, LAUNCHub Ventures, а также прежние инвесторы North Island Ventures, Blockchain.com Ventures, Rockaway Blockchain Fund, Pantera и L1 Digital.

Согласно заявлению, раунд стал крупнейшим для этой стадии финансирования в блокчейн-индустрии Великобритании.

BCB Group предоставляет клиентам комплекс услуг по обработке платежей в криптовалютах и фиате, торговле цифровыми активами и хранению через унифицированную платформу.

За пять лет работы фирма обработала платежей на сумму около $100 млрд.

Привлеченный капитал в BCB Group планируют направить на географическое расширение бизнеса, а также покупку долей в «критически важных инфраструктурных компаниях-партнерах».

«Наша цель — подключение глобальной криптоиндустрии к банкингу. Финансирование, поддержанное как венчурным капиталом, так и стратегическими инвесторами, дает возможность построить более масштабную, лучшую и глубокую инфраструктуру», — заявил основатель и CEO BCB Group Оливер фон Ландсберг-Сэди.

Напомним, в декабре 2021 года BCB Group приобрела Sutor Bank, основанный в 1921 году.
